The Main Event is the catering division of James Beard Award-Winning Chef John Currences City Grocery Restaurant Group. The City Grocery Restaurant Group includes many of Oxford, Mississippis favorite restaurants including City Grocery, Boure, Snackbar, Lamar Lounge, and Big Bad Breakfast. We provide a wide range of services for any size event in any location, including intimate social luncheons, corporate events, Tailgating and Graduation food, seasonal gift boxes, rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. Our talented culinary team, led by Chef John Currence, will work diligently to create a custom, narrative menu for each client. The Main Event's office is home to our corporate office, production commissary kitchen, and all event planning for off-site special events for City Grocery Restaurant Group.
